Roofer -Insurer SIU Partnership Combat Fraud 2939 1
Started by insprojohn
Why not a partnership&160;&160;If I had to choose between reporting a scumbag insured for insurance fraud, helping the insurer get restitution, and possibly get paid a percentage; if not most of the RCV&160;money&160;for the&160;roof job the insured refuses to me for&160;I would gladly do that; instead of just putting a mechanic's lien on a home and hoping to get paid.&160;
On my way to the court house to file my mechanic's lien I will stop by the district attorney's office to file frau...

Did you know that this October will mark CADO's 15th year online!
In one way you could say it was born from the rubble of a catastrophe. CADO was created while I was working as a Cat Adjuster handling claims from the Northridge earthquake in 1994. Of course 1994 was way to busy to do anything but take care of the claims. But by the summer of 95 I found some time to explore a very young web. My interest in the web had started on another catastrophe in Alaska, in the spring of 1989, the Exxon Val...

My question is, If a business had water damage, but unfortunately&160; closed down 5 months later. (A claim was filed ) However, nothing has been resolved. Is the claim still valid. Or since the business has closed down the insurance company can deny the claim.

Started by Papa T
Hello, I am a homeowner who has an old roof that is about 17 years old.
Cincinatti insurance company sent an adjuster out and said there is no damage to my roof, but I have a section of shingles about 4' x 4' area that the wind has pulled away from the roof.
The shingles are a 3-tab organic and are probably discontiued.
The adjuster said my roof is to old and that they will deny the claim based on its age.
What can I do or say that can convince my ins...

THE BEST LAWYER STORY SO FAR THIS YEAR -
One afternoon a lawyer was riding in his limousine when he saw two men along the roadside eating grass. Disturbed, he ordered his driver to stop and he got out to investigate.
He asked one man, "Why are you eating grass" "We don't have any money for food," the poor man replied. "We have to eat grass."
"Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I'll feed you," the lawyer sa...

Overhead & Profit 3058 0

We're investigating the non-payment of overhead and profit on residential property & casualty claims during Hurricane Ike in Texas in 2009. If you're an independent adjuster who worked on that hurricane, I'd like to talk to you. We are investigating the conduct of insurance carriers.
Thank You.
