Let us take a moment to remember the folks lost on this day seven years ago......let us also remember all their loved ones.......
Please also remember all those that SERVE THIS COUNTRY.....past, present and future and remember that those who have served, are serving and will serve have stepped up to the plate and written a check to this Great Country and that the check was written for the amount 'UP TO THE GIVING OF THEIR LIVES' so that our Democracy can survive........

A Tribute To Old Glory
by Cynthia Groopman
In the soft gentleness of the dawn's early light,
My eyes are dazzled by an enchanting breathtaking sight.
For regally gracing the clear early morning sky,
Is Old Glory cheerfully waving so very high.
For dear red, white and blue you symbolize a nation of heroes
Who are so loyal, brave and true.
Like a dove of peace, your stripes are of a snowy white,
Symbolizing freedom's preciously shining eternal light.
A bright red is as fiery as...

Is this covered on any policy? 3855 12

A friend allowed their neighbor to bring their fence up to their house because there is only a foot between the back of their house and neighbor's back yard. Neighbor's yard is higher up, has railroad ties along the actual property line. The foot of land behind the friend's house acts as a drain for water to go out into the street.
Friend's neighbor had some landscaping done after the fence. Her gardeners dumped a bunch of soil they dug up next to my friend's house in that drain. It eventually b...

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
May God be with you and bless you:
May you see your children's children.
May you be poor in misfortune,
Rich in blessings.
May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward.
May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the warm rays of...

I went to the NFIP seminar in Ontario, California, on Tuesday.&160; Little did I know that I would meet such luminaries in the CADO firmament as Bob Harvey and Steve Beaumont for the first time.&160; And I think the convenor considered Leland to be a bit of a troublemaker when it came to discussions of marble countertops.&160; It's great to be able to put a visual with the names I've seen so often on CADO.&160;
I excused myself from the seminar in the late morning to make a phone call and a...

3. Supplements, What is standard procedure Do you always go back for re-inspection and if you do you bill for it Do you run every move you make by the staff adjuster

Started by Ray Hall
This was supposed to be a poll .
1. To keep small losses from being reported.
2. To encourge policyholders to be more careful.
3. To reduce the amount of the net payment.
4. To get the full cooperation of an insured on a subrogation claim.
5. To be waived by the contractor if a yard sign can be placed for a month or so.
6. Has their been a time when the deductible could disapate by the size of the loss
7. Reasons not brought up.

Overhead and Profit - Construction Cost Adjusting Factors 21198 25
Started by Dales Consuelo
Covering business operation costs (all overhead), and making a reasonable net profit (the financial reward after all overhead is paid), is proper for any "mom and pop" and/or "big business" endeavor to realize.
Some insurers, as some here well know, have publically created a false premise which implies that damage to a property must be 'complex enough' and/or involve 2-3 or more trades for repair, to justify the "need" for a general contractor.
