Catastrophe Claims Handling

Allied American handles catastrophe claims throughout the United States. The Company adjusted 1,200 claims from Hurricane Irene. For Hurricane Sandy, adjusters handled approximately 4,000 losses in the Northeast. The Company provided adjusting services for about 5,000 claims from Hurricane Isaac. In 2004 and 2005, the Company handled more than 30,000 hurricane claims for several insurance carriers.

Call Center Services

Allied American has a call center located in Tampa, FL and agreements with backup call centers in other parts of the country to handle large events. Customer service representatives take First Notice of Loss (FNOL) and handle customer service questions for both claims and underwriting. The call center currently works with insurance companies in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
