Third Party Administration (TPA) Services
This includes full daily claims adjusting operations, catastrophe
operations, and call center services. Allied American takes the First
Notice of Loss (FNOL), addresses all field activity, determines and
applies coverage, and processes final settlements. In addition, the
Company proactively addresses mitigation, litigation, subrogation,
liability, mediation, theft, complex and jumbo losses, and appraisal
requirements.
Task Assignment Services
Includes policyholder contact, on-site damage inspections and detailed repair estimates, and reporting for various customers.
Liability Claim Services
Allied American handles liability claims for its clients throughout the U.S.
Fast Track Program
Allied American developed a Fast Track program for clients who
routinely need solutions to smaller claims. A call center
representative, using a software program developed internally by Allied
American, can determine whether a loss should be direct connected to a
Fast Track adjuster. Examples of losses that are handled through Fast
Track include theft, fallen trees, water, lightning and power surge loss
assessments. The Fast Track program currently is used for daily and CAT
claims for one of the largest insurance companies based in Florida.
Catastrophe Claims Handling
Allied American handles catastrophe claims throughout the United
States. The Company adjusted 1,200 claims from Hurricane Irene. For
Hurricane Sandy, adjusters handled approximately 4,000 losses in the
Northeast. The Company provided adjusting services for about 5,000
claims from Hurricane Isaac. In 2004 and 2005, the Company handled more
than 30,000 hurricane claims for several insurance carriers.
Commercial Claims Handling
Allied American puts an emphasis on its commercial claims division
and handles commercial claims for numerous clients across the U.S.
Inside Examination Services
Our Company has multiple contracts to place examiners inside our
clients’ offices at the time of a CAT or daily overflow. Examiner
services include both personal and commercial lines of business.
Audit Assignments
Allied American was contracted by the Mississippi Department of
Insurance in 2013 to audit hail claims sdjusted by six insurance
companies in Mississippi. After Hurricane Katrina, the Company was
engaged by the Mississippi Department of Insurance to audit and perform
QA on approximately 40,000 hurricane claims handled by a large carrier.
Flood Claims
Allied American handled 1,350 flood claims generated from Hurricanes Irene and Sandy.
Excess and Surplus Lines Claim Assignments
Allied American has adjusted over 3,000 claims from excess and surplus lines of business.
Call Center Services
Allied American has a call center located in Tampa, FL and agreements
with backup call centers in other parts of the country to handle large
events. Customer service representatives take First Notice of Loss
(FNOL) and handle customer service questions for both claims and
underwriting. The call center currently works with insurance companies
in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
Underwriting/Risk Inspections
Allied American’s commercial and residential Underwriting Risk
Inspection Program provides our clients with accurate risk and condition
information to insure compliance with underwriting standards. We
conduct our inspections with specific emphasis on physical condition.
Our condition reports have also proven to be a valuable resource to
field adjusters in the event of a claim. The program is flexible and can
be tailored to meet the individual needs of the client.Thorough
risk-related physical inspections of the perimeter and roof are carried
out by qualified inspectors who are knowledgeable of building and roof
construction defects and their repairs. We rate roofing and exterior
surfaces based on age, condition, etc.Insurance-To-Value (ITV) reports
are also available.
Special Investigations Unit (SIU)
The Allied American team can help you recognize the ‘indicators’
early on in the investigation, and validate the necessary claim
information, giving you peace of mind on legitimate claims while keeping
the questionable claims out of the danger zone. Partnering with
licensed, insured and experienced professional investigators, we utilize
the latest in internet technology and information services. Our team is
professional and discreet, providing timely, thorough and custom
reports; as well as web-based client file management utilizing our
claims information management system (CIMS). Allied American’s SIU
forensic and surveillance services include: cause and origin, fraud and
subrogation investigations, public record searches, fraud training,
customized fraud plans, and regulatory compliance audits.
Field Re-inspections
A review of onsite damage is another key control for companies that
have staff adjusters or use multiple independent adjusting firms. Your
obligation to your insureds is to ensure that they have received the
service and the monetary consideration due under their contract of
insurance. Our proven program is a non-biased approach to establishing
damage assessment parameters, and evaluating submitted documentation to
repair. Allied American’s professionals can identify trends and can
recommend or provide training solutions. Our program has been used by
both the insurance industry and government agencies to validate a
variety of damage extent, costs and documentation.
