Take any estimate anywhere written by anybody.&160; Give it to 5 different adjusters to analyze and you will get 5 different estimates, 5 different reports, 5 different sets of pictures, 5 different everything.&160; There is no 'right' estimate.&160; Have 20 contractors scope the same loss and you will get 20 different bids and 20 completley different estimates.&160; This job is based on the opinion of the adjuster that is scoping the loss.&160; That is why he was hired to scope the loss.

I have worked as a property adjuster since 1990.&160; I started with Aetna and worked as a regular territory based staff adjuster (5) years, then independent staff (10) years and in between contract CAT appx (4) years.&160; I have worked all the big events and have consistently made a decent living working claims&160; for the past 19 years.
