Real roofers hate this stuff. It is hard to remove when it comes time to put a "real" roof on the building

Yes you can. We have a large population of Mennonites here in Arkansas that apply this stuff. BTW, it is not cheap. I would have to go back to one of my church files from last year to see what they wanted a sq and see how much extra the roofer wanted to take this stuff off before he put down a mod bit roof

It's been quite awhile since I've dealt with the stuff, but it can be recoated and needs to be periodically to maintain it's waterproof abilities and protection factor. The sun and water will destroy the foam if the elastomeric coating is allowed to deterioate. Also bird crap plays havoc in it as I learned from having a claim on shopping mall within half mile of the ocean once. Plenty of seagulls in the area.... Don't know what type of claim you have on it, but it is pretty easy to determine damages as hail is real easy to determine, wind will blow chunks off of it, and what I saw in the photos looks to be just plain old wear and tear. It is patchable, but the roofing contractors that install it these days are probably pretty limited.

I went back and looked at a file from last year. The Mennonites wanted $1,357.00 per square, off and on to respray. The "real" roofing company gave me a quote that included $740 per square just to take this stuff off down to the deck
