I am trying to sketch an Gambrel roof in Xactimate and wondering how is the best way to adjust the 4 sides it only show 2 sides in Xactimate. How do yo do a gambrel roof in Xactimate sketch Is it better to do the outside perm.

I have this version installed but I'm about to start receiving claims from a carrier that hasn't upgraded to the latest version. What is the best way of rolling back or installing 25.1 I do not plan on using 25.4 for a few months. Do I need to contact tech support Or can I use the link they previously sent me with the Xact 25 upgrade which has the option to download version 25.1, 25.2, 25.4

Xacct 25.4 protects pdf with phantom password 3626 1

Recently upgraded to Xact 25.4 as all my profiles had it authorized. I guess this isn't always the way to go. Everything works fine so far except when I need to print to pdf. I can extract the files to pdf, but when I try to combine them, it says there is a password required. I contacted Xact support to see how to fix this, and they explained that is was written into the programming and there is no way to fix it. They do not have a password for the protection they a...

Just curious how many of you out there are outraged by the recent price increase. It is across the board, from what I understand. No more discounts. They are not honoring the Life-Time contracts that some of you negotiated years ago. It doesn't matter that I've had Xactimate live, without interruption, since it was a DOS program. I have a pier & beam that got clobbered by a huge tree. I need to ad $ for the house to be leveled (or jacked up...whatever ea. person calls it) but after MUCH time searching, I can't find those services in XM8. Is it in there at all If not, how do I enter that extra expense.

Two questions -
On a gable roof if the sides are uneven how do you change the measurments&160;&160;I have tried everything I can think of but no use.&160; I stumbled into it once but don't know what I did to make it happen.
This is along the same lines - how do you make a saltbox roof (one story in front with dormers and two stories in back)
I suspect the answer to both is simular.&160; I am using Xactimate 25

Since I decided to stop storm travel after Hurricane Rita in the fall 06 I have listed with about 15 of the vendors who posted the adds. I think two required IC and the rest required Xactinet connections for up load and down load. My total out lay for xmate exceded $830. one 1 month and&160;two 90 day leases.
