Are instant adjuster training schools good for the property claims industry? 4688 10
Started by quoin4
I have noticed a trend of pop up companies offering Texas and Florida Property Adjuster license training with Xactimate and CAT training. Do members of this blog believe the standards of our industry are compromised from these schools or enhanced Should Texas Department of Insurance and Florida Department of Financial Services re-evaluate the difficulty of their licensing exams to raise the bar for the field of Property Adjusting

Daily Work? 5021 15
Started by Amart
I just finished up working Ike in Cincinnati and I'm now back home. I am a new adjuster (surprised), i went down to Ohio and shadowed another adjuster, until i started getting some of my own claims. That chapter is now closed, but i want to keep working. I decided I would really like to work around my area(mid-Michigan) doing daily claims, but i am in the dark of how to get started with that. Who would i contact about daily claims in my area as i can't imagine there is much CAT work in Michigan...

This person said that much of what I do translates to your profession and could be a good source of supplemental income. I know my annual studies are a real commitment I suspect so are yours. But is it reasonalbe that a person in my field can work in your industry during periods of high demand

I am a 'new adjuster', 'fresh meat on the plate', or any of the other terms assigned to us '2 day wonders' that have popped onto the scene of adjusting.&160; Most of us had no concept of the divisions in the adjusting feild, we had just heard from our 'wife's uncle's borther's sisters's boyfriend that there was a ton of money to be made, and we jumped into the RED&160;SEA.
All if not some of us expected to get our license and go to work right damm now.&160; After all we are trained, and lice...

I have seen a 3 day class for $149.00 from AdjustersTraining.com, then there is 3 day course from Adjuster Training for $499.00, and a 3rd 3 day class from The Adjuster School for $400.00. If any of you are like me, when there are no storms, you try ...

Construction vs adjusting experience 3916 12

A few years back I had a claim for sudden and accidential discharge of water.&160; This was the result of a cold water pipe burst in the attic above the kitchen pantry.&160; As backgr...
