has anyone gone through the us staffing school in irving texas. I'm wanting to get into cat adjustment and have no experience, just wondering if this class is the way to go, and what kind of luck has anyone attending this 11 day school had in getting a job with local companies doing day claims. All other info on getting started would be appreciated as well thanks

App Developer needs some advice 4568 9
Started by gglover
Hi there -
I am not an adjuster. I'm a custom software developer and I'm trying to help out a family member who is involved with independent adjusting.
The fieldwork part of things is apparently much less a problem than the preparation of the data which is submitted to the insurers.
I happened upon your forums discussing Xactimate and others, and am hoping to get some insight as to how to streamline the process. I did see a brief demo of Xactimate and can see how that could easily...

US Staffing Adjusting Services 9634 12
Started by USCatAdjuster
I recently spent 3 weeks at the US Staffing Adjusting Service training facility. I enrolled in their "Surviving the Storm, Adjusting 101", Xactimate I, Xactimate II Advanced Sketch and Texas All-Lines Pre-Licensing courses. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms. The training in the 101 course was great. We covered everything from how to set up for deployment, what do do once you are there and how to scope, report and estimate damages. This four day course is a MUST f...

Pilot PA Evaluation Program 4862 3
Started by JConnolly
I do not have prior storm experience, but will be attending Pilot's Property Adjuster Evaluation Program this weekend. I would greatly appreciate tips/advice from anyone who has completed the evaluation process - what to prepare for. While I have completed several training courses, I likely will be competing with experienced adjusters. I need any help I can get. Thanks in advance.

Which Training School? 5852 11
Started by brighton
With all the training schools out there, which schools do you feel offer the most for the hard earned money you will spend I see folks wanting to get into the business or want to increase their knowledge to be better adjusters.
It would be beneficial for these folks to have a good idea which schools provide a solid skills/training school versus those that are in it for the money and are not in it to instruct and train which you find out after you get there and you money is already spent....

AIC or other Profession Designation for Adjusters 8311 1
Started by ElectronicWarlords
Has anyone out there found the need to get an AIC certification it is from aicpcu.org.
It is a grand total of 4 classes for the designation and it is similar to the underwriter designation of CPCU. I am thinking about doing it just so I have the designation but it is a whopping $1500 mostly for the testing.
Have any of the Cat. firms requested this or do they even know about it I am a commercial adjuster who has been in the business for nearly 10 years no...

I have just taken the USAA certification test through NADO in Dallas. I
have read the previous post saying that 'everyone failed' in Orlando. I
have to say this 'class' was very good. The test is basic knowledge,
things every adjuster (even newbies) should know before calling
themselves adjusters. I have never worked for NADO, but the class was
well run. I know sone people just do not test well, but this test was
very basic and should be a breeze for anyone with the 3 years
