    I have been looking at the list of training classes on Claimsmentor.com.

    Have any of you taken them? Which are the best ones? Is it worth it to buy the lifetime membership since I am a newbie?

    Thanks!

    Steph

    While I can't offer any information on the training classes listed at ClaimsMentor.com, we do have schools and training providers listed in the CADO Directory and some of them have ratings that may be of some help.  Here is a link to the listings;

    Steph, I am almost a charter member of ClaimsMentor. You have to be a member to enroll in the classes which are very reasonable. I dont think you have to be a lifetime member. I think I paid $30.00 for the best class on condo claims in existance.

    Thanks for the suggestions!

    I took an Integra class through a vendor tonight. It was very good. Glad I went... and I didn't have to pay for this one. Made it even better.

    Sorry I haven't had time to view the forums lately and just saw this. Stephie, Ray is correct...the ClaimSmentor classes are very minimally priced. There is much information on the ClaimSmentor site about the classes to include the cost of all classes and all self study guides for use later as field reference guides. Since you are a member of ClaimSmentor, you can easily access all the information right in our forums in the Training Sessions Forum. As you know, there is no charge to join ClaimSmentor. There is a minimal fee to take our live online classes which all include Self Study guides for later field reference while handling assignments. There is also a list of the class graduates from all of our classes in the forums and you are welcome to send any of them private messages in our ClaimSmentor forums for input on the classes they have taken. Just enter " Graduates" or "Certificates" in the search field on ClaimSmentor to find the list on the ClaimSmentor site.

    Stephanie,

    I have been a lifetime member of claimsmentor for about a year and highly recommend the courses Deb puts on as a great starter and refiner.  She literally puts hours and hours of her time to make a very meager amount in exchange.  In addition, she has around 30 years of experience with Big Red in Property.  I don't reckon she makes money out of the deal as it appears that only admin charges are barely covered.

    Being in Pilot country (Moblile, AL) I get lots of inquiries about the Catastrophe Adj. occupation and I routinely send them to claimsmentor to get started.  Their interest typically peters out since her approach is very realistic, yet she's always willing to help those willing to learn.
