State Farm Certification 25092 9
Started by mbradbury
Hey folks.&160; I'm going to be doing my State Farm certification in June.&160; I'm already registered for the property IDL broadcast.&160; I'm attending it with Ebrel's being my sponsor, at a State Farm operations center in Lakeland, FL (just outside of Tampa).&160; The only problem is that the testing that Ebrel's is sponsoring, is only being offered in Irving, TX and their home office in Colorado.
Now that being said, I really need to save on the $$ as much as possible, and would rather ...

I still have an old DOS program that was like kinda like DDS that cost $300.00 that I purchased in 1989 during the summer floods in Houston and ran until I&160;leased DDS in 94. I also have all the xmate codes printed out in about 250 sheets for zip code 77004 in Houston. Will the puter police come after me if I starting using both to estimate property losses as&160;my word processor, with the old 9 pin printer.

State Farm IDL 9219 11
Started by MMoorhead
I received an email from Eberls, and they would like me to join their roster. However, they next State Farm IDL is in October. This does me no good. So I am reaching out for other options. If a CAT hits does State Farm run these IDL's more frequently What can I do to be prepared for this season. I have been doing daily work, but I want to go down on a CAT this year and every year after this one.

How to become an appriaser/umpire 5370 2
Started by Tom Toll
A field that is not new, but is becoming more dominant in our field, is being an appraiser in the appraisal process or an umpire. This requires specific training to be able to do it in a professional manner. An appriaser or umpire can earn $125.00 to $250.00 an hour, if they know what they are doing. I have some information as to how to enter this arena. If you might be interested, e-mail me at ttollhouseearthlink.net and I will send you that information. This is an excellent opportunity for ma...

I have been watching the Denver local news this evening and it looks like a lot of damage in Northern Colorado. News is stating baseball sized hail and possible EF-3 to Ef-4.
I am new adjuster wannabe with a Texas license and 2 days of xactimate training that lives a few hours away from Greeley. I&160;am a home inspector, complete loss control inspections for insurance companies(field inspector) and also complete diaster inspections for Fema. I am a former State Farm Staff adjuster (now independent working mostly SF assignments) w/ 12 years (thousands of completed claims) of experience, licensed in TX, FL, GA, MI, & NC. When I called their office I was told that my 40hr training class choice in Tx did not meet their criteria for their lic.
When I asked what classes were recognized I w...

Since I graduated college back in 2003 I started looking into positions as a property adjuster with a goal of getting enough experience to obtain a position in SIU (my degree is in CJ).
I spent about six months looking with absolutely no luck, so I took positions in a different fields to gain some 'professional' experience that I could apply to the adjusting profession. One position encompassed working with adjudicated juveniles (conflict resolution, problem solving, etc); another was in constr...
