Has anyone ever dealt with  Adjusters Training.com? They are advertising MACRO BUILDER FOR XACTIMATE along with SCOPE NOTES MADE EASY. The CD or download is available for 49.95 and the ad claims there are 50 ready made macros available for upload that include roofs, elevations, kitchens and bathrooms. Also available are macros for specialty items such as gazebos, pool enclosures, etc. I am wondering if anyone has used these macros and thinks it is well worth spending 50 bucks. Your input for or against is appreciated.

I believe Larry Jernigan is the owner of Adjusters Training.com. I've not taken his course but I met him at a NACA convention and he was a very nice guy. He gave me a hat... nice hat :-) I pick the brains of all who are interested in XM8. Over the last two years those who have taught me a new trick or two...often sourced Larry Jernigan as the one who first showed them this or that.

Macros take time to fine tune, especially if they have the variables built into them. One dollar per macro seems like a very good price if your time is worth anything. His disk should provide good examples of macro building from which you can custom build whatever you might need for any application without all the trial and error that I went through.

I took one of his classes and I was not all that impressed. It was very fast paced and tough if you were a beginner. Even some experienced adjusters felt Larry was going too fast.  But Larry did one thing I felt unethical.  The class was for $299 which I paid the full amount.  About 10 days before the class, the price dropped to $199 and when I was in class I was the only one who paid the full price. I mentioned this to Larry and he just shrugged me off and said I could apply towards any of his future classes within 6 months.  I felt he should of given me a refund of $100. I have other complaints that I will just keep to myself, but others in the class felt the same complaints.

I also took one of their classes. They gave you enough vague info to make you need their next class. They also offered their macro cd at the class, it looked pretty good. I would rather make my own, but it was pretty complete.
