Sorry I can't help you. I just want to say that apparently the professionals are tired of all the new guys asking for help. I suppose they all made it with out any advise and we have to do the same. Best wishes.

Marcab just because you did not get the information that you wanted to hear does not mean that this site is done with Newbs. The advice that you were given was accurate, upfront and a warning to you that this business is not something to just jump into abandoning your current career.

Good luck Brian and remember, No one owes you anything however some may give you a hand so be appreciative of whatever you get even if it is constructive criticism.

In a strong sense, marcab is right. We have given the same information repeatedly over the years and are weary. Perhaps this information to aspireants should be posted in a large font on the Home page to save time for everyone. This is a profession, a real life profession. It requires much more than a state license and a pickup truck to perform. Adjusting is not like a fast food job where the pictures of a hamburger or french fries are on the cash register keyboard.

For those who are curious about adjusting, please use the search function and read the myraid of posts already composed about what we do and what it takes to become one of us.

Shoot me an e-mail with your experience. I am not busy on daily claims but I do have a roof inspection in Hebron, Ky over by the airport on tuesday. I am 45 miles east of Cincinnati and going through Cincinnati to get there. Just a wind claim and you can watch if you want, I can't let you on the roof though, and I will give you any information on what is expected of you as an adjuster and what you can expect in doing cat claims. I am always on here looking for an education also as you always learn. I first started in 1979 and things seem to continually change as to how companies want things done.
