3 Replies and 2970 Views Finding Contact Info For People Using Internet Sources  2970  3 Started by  BradM &160;Because the available resources online change so quickly, I'm hoping we can pool our resources to find out the best source of information when you need to contact someone with a name, license plate number, address, DL number, SS number, etc. As our first source, we currently use whtepages.com and anywho.com (yellow pages) to find individual contact information. If these fail, we use Intelius, which is a fee based program to locate contact information (approximately $1.95 per search, but ...

&160;I just got hired by Pilot, I guess. They called and said get your paperwork in and get ready for a drug test. The lady told me that she knew they would call me so pack my bags. I have all paperwork in, but they haven’t called me for a drug test yet. I e-mailed and they said if I was called to give them the zip of where I was going and they would set me up there to have it done.&160; I have taken all my tests they have on (my training) and passed with 100. I am starting the free stage 1 ...

0 Replies and 3211 Views Local Claims Assoc Meetings (one in Dallas, TX 10/5)  3211  0 Started by  OdieWyatt If you haven't checked out any of the local claims associations in your area, you may want to try one and see if it would be worthwhile to attend. Granted, most will be found in the major population centers, but if there is one near you, check it out. You might make some contacts for daily claims work. This Wednesday, 10/5, the Dallas Claims Assoc is having their monthly meeting, which is a lunch and one hour CE class (about $30). See their website for details, at www.dallasclaims.com A local...

0 Replies and 3372 Views Is this a legitmate opportunity for a newcomer to insurance adjusting  3372  0 Started by  gtd I have commercial and residential construction experience, and I recently came across a craigslist ad for Mile High Adjusters. &160;They offer a week-long class in adjusting which results in knowledge of xm8 and a Texas license. &160;I`ve done a fair amount of research on insurance adjusting since then, and it appears that newbies really get their chance to crack into the industry only when an unusual number of catastrophic incidents occur. &160;Is this happening right now&160;And if so, do...

0 Replies and 3030 Views TD13 (LEE?) big soak for big easy.  3030  0 Started by  olderthendirt This should be Lee shorlly, 94L will not likely get named so we will have to wait for Maria.&160; This is very slow moving and looks like it is for LA. Not much wind but 10 to 20 inches of rain or more are possible. This will likely generate more flood work. Especialy if the remians drift north towards NJ.&160; Poor Texas will get little or no rain according to the models.

2 Replies and 3605 Views Irene Deployment - possible scam?  3605  2 Started by  SteveRogers I recently replied to a classifieds post that is requesting adjusters for Irene. They replied stating that I was acepted and to be in xxxxxx location by xxxxx time. The classified does not list a company name, only a gmail account to respond to. Could this potentially be fraudulent / a big waste of time and money What could the motive be if it were a fake advertisment
