A TS not likely to make Hurricane, but it will bring some badly needed rain to south Texas. No need to gas up your trucks, this is not going to create much work. All those standbys are a trial run, good excuse to find out who will respond.

I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers.

Maybe TS Don will stall over Houston ala Allison.

I just hope that it replenishes the dried out stock tanks and helps recharge the aquafiers.

Most of the rain from Don is displaced to the south. But this time with will have 20,000 adjsuters wants the 20 or so claims. Maybe 91L will make it to Texas

It looks like Ole' Don will in fact drop desperately needed inches of rain. The downside is he is moving at close to 15 miles an hour and not much is gonna get down deep enough in the soil where it needs to be.

Are any of my fellow adjusters farmers in Texas? How bad has this recent drought been to your crops? Are there any crops that can flourish with minimal water/high heat?
