I just received my 6-20 license and I have extensive construction experience as a Foreman. How can get a job as a trainee or any lower positioned job in a catastrophe. I have applied to some companies most notable EA Renfore. What would you guys recommend as companies to get my foot in the door as a trainee or even a adjuster

New Guy Question 3247 1
Started by ism
Hi
I'm new to the board and new to the industry. In fact I am still waiting to have my license in my hand.
I've read a couple post here and will try not to come off too simple and idealistic.
My impression before I studied for my online course was that there would be 'staff' and 'independent' adjusters. I thought it best to try first as a staff adjuster. It would mean a moderate income and a chance to learn. I could branch out after I learned the job.&nbs...

Arizona Adjusting 2507 0

Hey all, I just got my license to Adjust in AZ! I am looking to do daily claims but it looks like there isn't a whole lot of Firms that work in the South West US. Does anyone have any pointers I will be jumping on a CAT when one comes up but I kind of wanted to rely more on the daily claims. Thanks for any help!

I've gotten my license, gotten on the roster with Pilot and Eberls scheduled to go to Dallas for Eberls SF Auto Adjuster test the 25th. Now do you think it would also be beneficial to go to Eberls conference in Dallas the 14th, 2-day course on Auto Adjusting for inside work available, which is where I want to end up for now. i.e....call center. Also waiting on drug test results with Pilot and then will schedule trip to Mobile for their 8-day auto training and eval. Just ...

Ride Along 4464 0

Greetings to all.
I am looking to see if there are any adjusters (daily or otherwise) in the Dallas/Ft. Worth who would be interested in letting me ride long with them for a short period of time. I have looked at some older posts and realize this is an area of contention for many, so I apologize in advance.
My brief background: Been licensed (catastrophe) for a couple of years, been on standby numerous time, but have yet to be called out. I was licensed though AdjusterPro, I have completed Amc...

Staff Adjuster Looking to go Independent 10708 2

Hello Everyone,
I have viewed these forums for years and am finally writing my first post. I have read through questions about staff adjusters vs. I/A's, and have found both to be informative. I realize that many of you have questions about becoming a staff adjuster - so please don't be afraid to ask me any questions you may have. I have 10 years of experience with 3 different major insurance companies. I have worked auto and property, but for the majority of my career I have focused on propert...

Ray's Book 5085 2

Hi All,
I am a new adjuster and after having read through numerous posts for beginners, I noticed Ray Hall kept making an offer that no one took him up on and also mentioned he was writing a book about adjusting. As he passed away before I got into this industry and had an opportunity to take him up on his offer, I was curious if anyone knows if he actually finished his book and how I might be able to get a copy of it.
Thanks.

Greetings! My name is Zach and I recently got my GA adjusters license in August and I'm looking for a little advice on how to get started and get more involved in the industry.
