    What's your action plan?

I haven't seen anybody posting who they're on stand-by with.  I'm looking for 1st time deployment, anybody care to share any insight?

    Thanks, and stay safe.

It's very rare to see anyone post here as to whom they are deployed with unless they have been around a long time and are comfortable doing so.   Kinda like being married...you keep all that good stuff to yourself.

On the other hand, you can go back a few years and see all the posts from the folks that were not getting paid by certain vendors.   Again, kinda like being married...to the wrong woman (or man).

Interesting thought , doing a first deployment (I assume first claims job) in New York. Kinda like swimming in a blender. I can hear the sharks (PAs that is) grinning from here.

I am on standby with a company out of south Texas. Waiting for a conference call and deployment orders.

    Thanks for the reply,

I kinda figured that, but also thought along the line of not letting the cat out of the bag, or like sharing your favorite fishing hole.

I can (sometimes can't) understand relationships, best to keep it good!

    Thanks

Yes you are correct, first claims job, deployment etc.

Sharks!!, Talk about getting your feet wet!

From the looks of the damage I've been seeing on the news and my qualifications, doesn't look like a good fit, although I'm not afraid to swim with the sharks!

I'm not flood certified or licensed for N.Y., so that's out, I was thinking wind damage in the surrounding areas.

I'm anxious to get started somewhere, but I have to admit, this one mixed in with the winter storm, doesn't look too thrilling.

What are your thoughts on the wave of deployment? How does that usually happen?

    Thanks

    Hi Brarew,

    Is this your first event?

I just received a call, for me it looks like orientation is Sat. in Ohio, another one in PA. I haven't received orders yet.

Well at least it feels like the ice is broken, bags are packed and ready to go. If I had any history with this co. I would probably be on the road by now.

    Good luck and be safe.

Winter storms almost always show up in all regions of the nation, so you need to prepare by making sure you have all crisis supplies needed. A cash advance can help you pay for a few things immediately. Make sure you have flashlights and candles to give you light, and keep water and food ready. Get more info at: Payday Loan

Why don't you do what every other legitimate vendor does and advertise in the appropriate venue?
