This would be horrible for the damaged communities, but may make them curtail the crazy spending as well.

2012 is an election year. FEMA will have all the money it needs.

For homeowners and residents of a disaster-stricken region, FEMA behaves as a safety net. The cleanup from Irene is anticipated to cost as much as $7 billion, and really a major  disaster is both costly and difficult to clean up, a part of  which FEMA should be responsible for, but - FEMA freezes disaster  funding; residents may be left in cold. They just give you hope where there is none. :3

I don't believe you giuys. FEMA out of money?? You guys talk like the US of A is bankrupt or something.

With an election in the very near future, do you think that FEMA will not be funded? All those voters mad at the gubmint won't vote the way the PTB want.

But for those of you still thinking that FEMA is broke, just go to work for Pilot, Renfroe, Crawford,, and the other companies that have a good track record. They pay their bills (and the help).
