Florida Citizens Daily Claims 4019 18

Does anyone know if you can work for more than one IA firm on Citizens daily claims in Florida I have been recently certified and have heard they only want their adjusters working for one firm. I would like all the work I can get but don't want to step on any toes. Thanks.

What's That Smell Imported Drywall Leaves Florida Homeowners Fuming (Chicago Tribune)
Chicago Tribune, April 6, 2009
That's the question du jour in some Southern locales, where homeowners are learning that the rotten-egg scent of sulfur in their houses isn't a figment of their imaginations.
Welcome to Toxic Torts, the 2009 edition. In it, tainted drywall appears to be vying to become the new 'black mold,' and drywall-related class-action lawsuits are sprouting like crocuses. The suits, in ge...

For the past few years I have done the Cat. deployment to different parts of the U.S. But most recently I have been trying to find companies that are looking for daily claims adjuster not, staff adjusters, independent 1099 adjusters jobs here in Georgia. I know they are out there but, I am having a hard time finding them. What is the secret code or hand shake required to find these companies or what

Coinsurance Calculation Trigger/Method 5135 13
Started by nixonjf
I know that many insured can negotiate removal of coinsurance penalties from their contracts, but their ability to do this is a function of their size and the market conditions (which can change rapidly and market shift is starting). I also know enforcing the coinsurance penalty is difficult for a variety of reasons.
Rather than rely on contract weaknesses or attorneys' skills, I'd rather avoid the potential problem by aligning the data used for underwriting with the data used for adjus...

Deployment based on experience 2846 6
Started by lizmcgee
Hi everyone, I'm new to the auto adjusting field. Adjusters are being deployed now to the recent hail storms. So if independent adjusting firms deploy their adjusters based on experience or how they are rated, is it possible for a new adjuster with only 1 month of experience who has not been rated to get deployed on the recent hail storms or only when there is a katrina like storm I was told only experienced adjusters are sent for non-major storms. So, if this is the case how will a new a...

Felt paper and shingle life 4313 12
Started by stormcrow
Working here in southern Ontario ( Niagara Falls to Windsor) I have run accross something interesting. Roofers only use 1 strip of felt paper along the bottom of the slope. This is within the building code. Wind damage easily exposes bare wood. What i have noticed is that the shingles in this area seem to age faster then any place i have been. I have seen many roofs under 15 years that the southern slope shinges are weather cracked completely through.
Roofs at 10 years are c...

I am general contractor and have decided to become an adjuster. I have had a few customers not pay me for work completed i.e. roof installations, siding and/or gutters. The fact I have not been paid many thousands of dollars has made it impossible for me to pay my financial obligations. What are the odds I will be declined work because of my credit history
I have already passed my Texas all-lines exam and have been invited to attend training for certification for an adjusting firm. I ...

Deere & Co., best known for its bright green and yellow tractors, sold $16.5 billion worth of farming equipment last year, most of it to the rest of the world. While perusing the archives, I came across a 2000 thread where the question was asked, 'What will catadjusting look like five years from now' Only a couple people had the courage to attempt an answer. You can judge now, eight years later, how accurate they were. Here's the link:
