1 Replies and 4876 Views Keeping tuned up on XM8  4876  1 Started by  Goldust I was wondering what you folks out there do to keep tuned up on XM8 until you get deployed so you can use it in real time.      I have been using the demo almost everyday and writing estimates to try and stay in tune wit the program. I have used XM8 this year on a small handful of real claims but that does not help to retain all this program has to offer ,especially XM8 27.

(Topic has multiple pages1 2 )
Can anyone recommend a good, basic, one-dimensional drawing program I am looking for something cheap to draw roof diagrams, liability scene layouts, etc. I use XM8 sketch for the estimate, but I need something similar to PowerClaims drawing program (without paying a yearly fee) that has their type features. I don't need (or want) to draw a 3-D buildings. Any ideas FYI,  I use and recommend PDF factory and MyFax.

6 Replies and 7286 Views AIR CARDS - pros, cons, uses, and how important?  7286  6 Started by  Mickie15 Hello again,&160; I am trying to decide if I really need or should have an air card, if and when we get hired for hurricane CAT&160;adjusting.&160; I&160;understand that an air card gives you access to the internet anywhere one can catch a signal, but is this a necessary device or something one can do without.&160; I only ask because 1) I&160;don't understand fully what the uses are for an adjuster, and 2) the cost is about $80 a month. How many of you swear by them and how many of you ge...
