My question seems simple, 'Who owns the rights to the content of a video taped deposition' The situation is this, an adjuster, either as a fact witness or an expert witness, is called to give a deposition. As in the past the there is a court reporter present and the court reporter 'records' the words in verbal and written form and produces a written transcript.

I am looking for opinions on the purchase of a new camera. Since beginning i have always used a digital point and shoot type camera ($130.00 panasonic), however i have never been satisfied with its inability to take good overall shots of rooms and roofs. I am not really up to par on cameras, but i have been researching the purchase of a new one and from what i have observed so far i am leaning towards a digital slr camera. I do a fair amount of interior work and use a Fuji Finepix that is allegedly water / shock / and dust proof. Problem: I'm tired of my interior shots not telling the story of the damage in overviews. The upshot is this is a great camera for exterior work. Blows for interior work.
Does anybody have a recommendation for a point-and-shoot with a built in wide angle lens Or do you use an SLR with a wide angle lens attached That's pretty pricey for me (I'd go used) but these shots suck.

Hey guys and gals, I am just starting to do catastrophe adjustments for E.A. Renfroe and I am going to trade my car in for something fuel efficient but large enough to carry a ladder. I know that is a post about laser mearsure but there was not much on who has used the blue tooth and like it.
I have an Ipad and going to upgrade my computer shortly to one with blue tooth. If I get convinced that using a laser measuer that will scketch the rooms for me I will buy it now and use the Ipad. Thanks for the info.

I need to carry a 32ft ladder with my 5th wheel and looking for suggestion. Inside is out and under I think the length is going to be a problem. I have been using a Telesteps 1800, it finally wore out after 4 years of constant use. It has allowed me to drive a car that gets 45mpg instead of a 15mpg pickup. Several of the roofs I have inspected both in Texas and North Carolina in the last 60 days in heavy hail damaged areas are showing damage appearing to be heat damage. They look very similar to the hail damage I used to see on the old organic comp. shingles. I would like to hear any of your observations on this particular shingle. You can tell Atlas Pinnacles by the very sharp line that they use as a 'shadow' line.
