Many of us who knew and worked with John referred to him fondly as the 'Colonel.' John retired from the Army, worked as State Farm staff and then for many years for Crawford & Company. He helped me with the CADO Conventions in 2000 and 2001. I also had the opportunity to work with Russ on several storms. He was a good friend and will be missed. David DeVille, EGA who was a part of Engle Martin when they formed, has died in a freak drowning accident in Hawaii. He was 48 years old. He also worked for Crawford & Company. David owned and operated Professional Loss Adjusters in Scottsdale, AZ. He is survived by his wife, Blake. David had no children. I worked with Bill at TWIA in 2008-2009 and came like Bill very much and appreciate his knowledge and experience. Bill was a true CAT War Horse of the old school.
