Am I an idiot? 14980 29
Started by MMoorhead
I am just reaching out for some feedback from you veteran adjusters. I just worked my first 2 claims and 1 of them was kicked back to me for several reasons. A couple were not my fault, but two were my fault.
I over-estimated a roof claim by 2 sq. and estimated with 3 tab 25yr&160;even though it was architectural 30yr. I fixed the shingle type and sent it back, right after I did this I realized my mistake with the 2sq. fixed it and sent it again. Not to mention, I don't know how to put my esti...

Money back from your insurer
That’s something Florida homeowners rarely see. But about 98,000 State Farm Florida policyholders will get refunds, averaging $1,225, over the next 12 months because the insurer failed to properly apply credits for wind mitigation. The refunds will total $120 million.

Places to Stay IN LA... 2668 1
Started by Adjuster John
In case anyone is having trouble finding a place to stay in LA, my daughter has had quite a bit of success locating places on a couple of websites:
Cyberrentals.com&160;is a good source.&160;&160;It is better for FL and the MS/AL coastal areas, but it does have some options for LA.
Also try www.corporates.com .&160; They will find a place for you.
Another place in the LA area currently doing temporary rentals is www.beaurivierecondos.com&160;.&160; These places are brand new and were fo...

Settle an argument about a pool 5513 22
Started by swink_d
I see I misspelled settle&160;&160; ( Can't go back and edit that part)
&160;
Not a claim&160; just a house I was at
I say the pool is part of the dwelling as there is a contious foundation from the house . Each elevation&160; down is a concrete slab with block walls and&160; foundation all tied together to the house
Someone else says its APS&160; paid at ACV .
&160;
The photo is small as all I had was the phone.

i installed this freeware program and found it to be amazing. You can put all your icons in rocketdoc and it will show iteself in any program you are in for immediate access to other programs while you are running a program. Try it out, you will love it. I use it while Integraclaim is running for many reasons.

This is my recall. About 40 years ago all claims, liability and property were done on T & E and the carriers questioned the IA on the time charged for to drive 50 miles one way and take a statement etc. GAB started the fee bill schedule on property claims. It was designed to drive the good IA firms out of property adjusting. (most were ex GAB employees and turned out an excellant finished file). The fee for a claim inspected and closed with out payment was $4.00. The fee schedule did not dri...
