Hello again everyone,
I hate having to ask this, but I will be the first to admit I am very unexperienced with stucco finishes, especially seeing them here in CA without any wall sheathing on the interior side. Wind driven rain caused water to enter this attached garage which has in turn caused the felt backing of the stucco finish as well as the interior wood paneling to have staining. Starting to hear stories, Canadian Nurses refused TN permit.
This is certainly a concern for Canuk adjusters wanting to work south of the border in the USA. Will they be refused entry, the agents certainly have the power to refuse anyone. And if movement southward is blocked, will Canada block US adjusters
In the last couple if years many US adjusters have worked in the great white north. Most under a TN permit.

Not claim related,but we are having the hardest time trying to figure out what the heck these metal clip-like pieces are for. Anyone have a clue They are spaced out randomly on the tile benches and raised walls outside a building here in Florida. The clips do not move, are bolted from the top but also do not attach along the edge like it would seem.

After days of watching still do not know what this is or if it will Hermine or Ian (see 08l).
finaly a TD and likely to be named soon, but so is the storm of the coast of NC. All we know is it is likely to make landfall somewhere between Galvaston and Tampa Bay some where between scattered remains and a major.

Beside price (simbility is cheaper) what are real differences Which is stronger for routine estimating Tell me why I would choose one over the other beside price and everyone seems to use Xactimate Help!

I am seeing more companies repairing hail hits on vinyl siding. I understand that they patch in a matching or similar pattern and then computer match the colour and paint the patch.
I am curious on the long term, Will the patched hole stay in place and will the matched paint fade at the different rate the original siding. Five or ten years from now will the insured be left with a poka dot pattern on the side where the repairs where done.

I have been an auto claims desk adjuster for the past year. I am in a situation at home where I may need to work from home doing something similar. Are there currently firms looking for at home/remote file reviewers Does anyone have a rough idea of how much they pay I have looked everywhere and have not had any luck for remote positions. All are temporary or require relocation. Working in the field for daily claims isn't really an option for my situation either.

Do you find the contents part of claims as a primary area where fraud is suspected If financial forensics and analytics were applied to validate contents claims, would that add value when you adjust claims that appear inflated and fraudulent

Florida Farm Bureau adjuster, Katie Froeschle, age 25 ,was murdered in Tampa,FL on November 12, 2004 while inspecting a loss by the tenant who is now serving life in prison. Forensic Files investigated this and is re running the story "Muffled Cries" on 9/22/07 at 6:30pm ET. She was beaten over the head with a motorcycle muffler pipe and her partially clothed body was found dumped in the Hillsborough River.
