I heard a strange and curious rumor and wanted to know if any of you out there can confirm it:

Eagle View is owned by principals of Pilot Catastrophe.

ConnectPoint is owned by principals of Pacesetter.

Geoestimator is owned by principals of NCA Group.

I would not be surprised to find that ownership of satellite measurement companies by the principals of claims vendors is true.

Allstate jumped on Ray's FICUS idea with both feet and would certainly use satellite measurement to estimate damage to a roof and to issue initial payment.

Xactimate is owned by principals of a few different insurance companies, Eagle View is now fully integrated within Xactimate, many things are curiously tied together
