Tom was an old time adjuster with a great background. I have only known two adjusters who were qualified as private aircraft adjusters in hull and personal injury. Tom was one. He had years of staff and IA work on all type of property losses that were very complex coverage and scope losses. We will miss you on this site Tom and see you again. Janice you are in my prayers.

What is it that we remember when we think of Tom? I think everyone who knows him very well would agree with me on this. It was his sense of humor. He was the kind of person that would make everyone laugh so hard that they’d end up crying. Who could forget about his posts on this page? That is what I will truly miss about Tom. He always cheered me up when I just had a bad day. That’s the trademark of Tom. He always wanted to make people happy and be helpful.

We haven't "lost" Tom. I know exactly where he is. He is with our Lord and Savior now.
When we get to Heaven, just look for the really tall guy in the back.
That'll be Tom.
Janice, I can't begin to comprehend your loss but you should know that I am with you and am willing to help in any way I can. You guys have been in my thoughts and prayers for some time and you will continue to be there.
God has blessed you and Tom beyond measure and has called Tom home. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
May God continue to bless you and yours.
Amen, and amen.

It is very few times in life that someone whom you've never even met would make enough of an impression to actually be "missed". But Toms wit and wisdom, and periodic contributions to this forum made him one of those people. With so much negativity in the world, and on this medium, I always enjoyed seeing what new inspiration Tom would post. I will miss that, and wish I could have met the man himself. JWG

One word frees us of all the weight and pain in life. That word is Love.
Ok fellas, Valentine day is closing fast. Don't forget your ladies.
Tom wrote this just a few months ago.
Janice,
I cannot begin to imagine the pain you must be feeling right now. I must tell you that you have not lost him, he has merely gone home and is preparing a place for the day when you will join him.
He is in no pain , he does not suffer as he is with our lord and saviour now.
You and yours are in all of our prayers.
For when you feel despair, all you need to do is close your eyes and Tom will be there.
Your Tom's daily words inspired so many of us to be better people and the most beautiful thing is that your Tom's words will forever be immortalized here on CADO never to be forgotten
Janice, you are not alone and we greave with you

Hello Roy,
Thank you for the information.
I am sure you have either already thought of this or have already done this but is there a way to archive all of Tom's wisdom over the years that would NOT be subject to some troll in the future posting some ridiculous or inflammetory comments?

His legacy and wisdom will surely be missed by many.

Many were blessed with the presence of this great mentor.
Many were blessed with the challenge of thinking that Tom Toll demanded.
This profession was blessed with the accuracy presented.
Thank you Tom Toll

I am very saddened to hear about Tom. I will always remember Tom as a professional and as someone with a wealth of knowledge who took the time to share it. When I first got into this business with DDS some 14 years ago I met Tom so enjoyed his wisdom and his willingness to share all he had learned. He blessed me greatly. Hedie and I are praying for you and your family Janice. Scott Wiens
