Are You Still Working Wind and Hail Claims in Indianapolis? If you are, and you're tired of eating alone or would like to meet some other catadjusters, why not join us on this Wednesday, October 18, for an adjusters dinner at Joe's Crab Shack? I know this is short notice, but if this one is successful we may do this some more. This is my wife Jennifer's idea. We plan to meet in the lobby of the Extended StayAmerica at 7940 North Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, at 7:00 PM and proceed from there to Joe's Crab Shack at 8250 Dean Road. Please let us know if you are planning to come by emailing Jennifer at sparkleseer@aol.com or me at Medulus@aol.com so we know how many to tell Joe's to prepare for. There may be four or forty. We really don't know yet. This is a chance to meet, compare vendors and carriers, swap stories, and maybe make a friend or two. With only 24 hours notice, we we able to gather ten adjusters last night. We had fun getting to know each other and swapping stories. So we decided to do it again. Next Wednesday, October 25th we will be going to dinner at Hooter's at 6426 East 82nd Street in Indianapolis. Those of us who are staying at the Extended StayAmerica at 7940 North Shadeland are meeting in the lobby at about 7:00 and proceeding over to Hooter's. We should arrive there by 7:15 or so. You are welcome to meet us either place. I'll be the one in the catadjuster.org shirt. Please let my wife Jennifer or myself know by email that you are coming so we can tell Hooter's how many to expect. Jennifer's email is Sparkleseer@aol.com. Mine is Medulus@aol.com. Last night had about the same number of people, but only four of the ten who were there the week before. This storm is winding down and we know that at least three of the people who came to the first one have gone home. Once again, we had a good time swapping stories. Many of the people who attended this week were from NCA, whose headquarters is about a half mile from the restaurant at which we met. Jennifer and I are starting to wrap things up, so we probably will not host another dinner. We'll do this again in the future, however.
