Symbility made a big splash a couple of years ago on the trade show circuit and now boast of "thousands" of users (I admit I am one because I signed up and did some estimates just to check them out).  However, our cat adjusting firm (Simsol Insurance Services, Inc.) uses hundreds of adjusters around the country all the time and we have yet to see a Symbility estimate come across any of our desks.

Anyone on CADO using the system?  What do you like/dislike about the "drag and drop" interface for selecting repair line items?

As far as carriers go, acquaintance of mine is a staff adj for Farmers Mutual of Nebr (small carrier).  They went to Symbility 2-3 years ago from what he said.  He didn't have anything good or bad to say about it.

I used it a year ago in Florida while working with a contractor. Nice idea, pay-per-claim, but the program was not that much better than anything else out there. PA's and Attorneys love it because the database and pricing is considered 'legitimate' and 'admissable', therefore, since it can be manipulated at the user level, it can be used against your company estimate in court.

Since the average file examiner doesn't have access to it, many will pay supplements based on the Sym estimate just to get the file moving.
