I know that there has been very few changes in fee schedules in recent years and have reviewed the comparison that Clayton put together back in 02 or 03.  Besides Citizens NFIP and the Texas Wind Pool, does anyone know of any other carriers that have revised their fee schedules since then?  If so, and you have a copy of it on a format that can be emailed, could you email me a copy of what you have for review purposes?  If you have the 3 mentioned above, I'd appreciate getting copies of those also for my review.  I do not think on an average the rates have changed much since then, but would like to see what some carriers are looking at.  I do not plan to take on a project like Clayton and don't plan to put together and comparisons on this.  My email address is sbeau4014@aol.com, and please put something in the title of the email like "Fee Schedule of ....." as your email will automatically go into my spam folder and if I don't recognize the sender or title, it gets deleted w/o opening.

    Thanks,

    Steve

I'm guessing some people don't care what the fee schedules are as they are not in it for the money. Their compensation is helping those in need.

Steve, I have looked at many schedules and must unfortunately report that there has been little change. The companies know we need the work, so they try to get us to work for a pittance of what we are worth. Sad, but true.

Very few vendors have personal relationships with adjusters any more. We are cattle with numbers to them. This business has made drastic changes in the 47 years I have been in it, and not to the good.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
