    Hi All,

I installed X-24 demo several months ago and then never did anything with it.  I recently purchased x-24 and now when I try to install the new disk they sent me, it just tries to update the old demo disk.  I get a "subscription expired message" and can not get past that to input the new keycode that came with my new disk.  Of course telephone support is closed at this hour and online support requires that I'm already set up...any quick help this evening as to how to get around this?  Thanks!

Go to the search function and completely uninstall everything that has Xactimate related. Then install the new version...

    Terry,
Thanks for your reply...I tried to uninstall xactimate 24 and I got the same message re: subscription expired...so it wouldn't let me uninstall. Can I delete all the files that come up "xactimate" related in the search without causing any trouble?

I would not recommend deleting all of the files at this time. Remember when you install programs in Windows it also places entries in your Registry file. Be sure you have a connection to the internet before you try to uninstall. However, since you have purchased a licensed version a call to Xactware should get you going.  Edit, just noticed that you are trying this after hours,

Thanks Roy...I'll call Xactimate in the morning. I was just a little impatient...wanted to get installed this evening. Thanks for the replies everyone.

I had the same problem once and back dated my PC to the date before program expired and uninstalled old program using the remove/install program from control panel. Hope this helps future users of Xactimate.
