The MyProfile section is a new interactive section on CADO. It is a special section that allows registered users to create a page on CADO where you control the content.  It uses modules that can be added and arranged on the page.  Below is a list of the modules that are currently available.

  • lists,
  • blogs,
  • picture galleries,  up to five albums, with 50 photos each
  • general text,
  • a friends list,
  • audio and video - Gold Members
  • RSS feeds - Gold Members
  • guestbook

I'm not sure there is any interest in this but I thought I would put out there for users to use.

Also, I'm not sure I like the name "MyProfile" so if you have a suggestion just let me know.

Follow this link to see a sample I created and add your own.

Note: This is not the same as a forum profile or a site profile.  To get to your Forum profile click My Profile in the forum or your name in a post you made.  To get to your site profile just click your name at the top of the page after you login.

Have a quick question! Even after I log off from CADO, it is still showing "user online" on the "my profiles" section. I have cleared my history and cleared my cookies to no avail. Is there a setting I need to adjust to show I am no longer online?

The MyProfile "user online" looks at the user session and not the logon\logoff status. In this case "Online" does not mean logged in. A little like a IM. A user session starts with the first visit to a site and ends about 20 minutes after the user leaves the site or shuts down the browser. This is based on browsers and web servers.
