Have you ever seen an Xactimate estimate that contains a refernce to Roof1, Roof2, Roof3 and so on? In most cases this is because the estimate writer is using the "Roof Icon" or the "f" key to add additions to their roof.  I have added a tip in my blog to show you how to avoid this.  You can find it here.

You can also make it all one roof by highlighting them all in sketch and then right click, and choose "combine", the same way you would make a closet part of a bedroom. To each his own, but I understand what you mean by having multiple roofs in the tree. It makes you flip back and forth from the sketch if you are the reviewer. The only time it makes sense to leave it roof one, two, three is if they are of differing materials requiring different repair approaches or if they are actually on different elevations.
    Best Regards,

It's not where we go, but what we do when we get there that defines who we are.

That's a good tip Jim. Thanks

That's makes three ways to eliminate the multiple roofs. Is there a fourth method?
