After numerous searches, I'm stuck.  I have been unable to find anyone but Vale School that offers MSB Training.  Anyone have any pointers or recommendations?

    Thanks!

Shawn this is one example of training from MSB listed in the Google search at the bottom of this post. I found Google to be so helpful in my job that I have it as my Explorer home page but don’t tell Bill. Best of luck getting ready for the storm season.[/quote]

Jud, thanks for your comment and just let us know when we can be of any assistance. CADO is about helping others make a living. I remember close to 10 years ago when I first logged on to CADO how lost I was and how people seemed to post in code. Well it was not in code but things like NOL, SOL, RPA, PLRB, NACA, NAIIA, etc were like Greek to me. It is still a fact that most readers on CADO do not have an option on what estimating software package they use so if they need training on a specific brand then that is what they need to find more info concerning. While we are an estimating software developer I can assure you CADO has little if any value to the developers as far as promoting/selling of their services simply because most CAT adjusters (that are looking to find work from resources on CADO) are told what brand of software to use. For us at HRI CADO as been/continues to be a great source of information and place to ask specific questions. Today keeping up with the trends is much easier with resources like CADO. While things are slow today on CADO and other similar sites that will change when some weather events start making the news. Now is the correct time for anyone looking for any type of training to get the training before hurricane season gets active.

It appears there is more of a financial burden being placed on independent adjusters every day. Cunningham Lindsey has announced that they have companies that want Exactimate, Integreclaim, and Simsol. By my calculations, based on current costs of the programs, that is close to $4,000.00 per year, just for estimating programs. If we don't have those programs, we don't work for that particular company. When is this going to end?  It seems the financial burden is placed on adjusters just to be able to work, plus all the other equipment required to handle a claim, yet, rates have not increased, fuel/milage expenses are not considered. Why not throw all the expense burden on the adjuster. It is going to reach a point, in the very near future, that we will be unable to afford all the necessary equipment and software to work. I wonder if anyone cares in upper management, after all,  what do they have to lose?

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Tom while $4K is not a lot of money for the working CAT adjuster according to some it is still outgo and not income for sure. The more expensive cost that I hear some talk about is getting an assignment that demands the use of a software package that just is not as productive as another and leads to a few less files closed each week.

Right, Tom, it's like trying to be MacDonalds, Jack-in-the-box, and Burger King all at the same time.
