I'm a new adjuster and figured that, in addition to my claims license, getting a Xactimate Level 1 certification would show someone looking for a field claims adjuster that I have a decent grasp of the program instead of just hoping I know it, or giving me a limited crash course before sending me out. I've head the test isn't particularly difficult, so would it be possible to learn what I need to about it on, say, Youtube or online vs. paying $300 for an online class before taking the test? If so, can someone point me to an online source that would give me sufficient information about Xactimate in order to pass the Level 1 certification?

This isn't the most active claims forum, I see.

Youtube XM8 Mastery and Xactware also has a channel.
I have only watched videos and passed levels 1&2. Level 3 Failed 50%. The tests are not that hard
