Hello everyone.  I am interested in becoming a claims adjuster in IL. I was wondering if anyone could please help me find out if I should invest the money and time to try and get licensed if I have a record of deferred adjudication. (I was charged with a felony but when I went to see the judge he said he would put me in probation and if I finished the probation successfully then they charge would be dismissed) I did finish the probation and the charge is dismissed. Technically I was never found guilty of the felony but it does show up on my background check.

I appreciate any guidance with this.

    Thanks!
