I have just been assigned a big church contract to inspect and create an Xactimate estimate for their roof. This is about 350-400 SQ property so the amount of money is really huge.

I have placed my fees and payment in signed contract with the church. I have full authority to interact with the insurance company.

My question is? How do I tell the insurance company to send my company the final check (payment) instead of sending it to the church? Because if it is sent to the church, it will take a long time before I am paid, even though I have placed stipulation in the contract so I am supposed to be paid 10 - 15 days after the check has been received..

I would like my company to receive the check and then we will send the church their portion of it. That way, we are more in control and do not have to wait extensive amount of time to get paid.

Please any help into this matter is welcomed.

    Thanks in advanced.

    Peter
