Good afternoon everyone, i recently got out of the Marines and a friend of mine told me about his time with Worley and recommended i give it a try, considering the long hours and work schedule he told me about that was something i was used to so i figured why not.

Im heading down next week and was looking for some advice.  Im very to insurance and policies so this isnt going to be easy, ive been going over the book Worley sent me and am just curious what kind of questions are on the test.  Ive read some other threads but no one really mentioned much details.  Im a hard worker and am obviously motivated by money, so im just looking for some pointers to focus on.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Charles

Knowing Worley is one of the big "4" I can assume what test, but we all now where "assume" ing leads us. So please tell us what test are you talking about?
Give them what they want, when they want it, and how they want it !

Estimatics Certification exaam which passing score of 84 with 50 questions

Ive been going over all the material but i want to focus on the main parts, if there is any...i already have a referral to the guy who runs the training for Worley, so im told.

Sorry, ill be more clear. When i say referral, the person who introduced me to this line of work has worked for Worley before, she said that she will email someone to put in a good word for me, apparently she was close friends with someone important, i honestly dont know but ill take what ever edge i can get. This is for state farm as im sure you guessed.

    Chuckdog,
I would suggest you spend some time with spell check. Your posts are OK, but there are some syntax issues in each of them. This will be a stumbling block in your career as a cat adjuster or insurance adjuster. File reviewers have little patience for an adjuster that doesn't understand when to use an apostrophe, or simicolon or etc.

Not trying to rain on your parade at all, Sir. I thank you for your service and wish you well in your endeavors. Just clean up your typing.

This is from an ol' fat NamVet that has been there, done that, and wore out the T shirt.

    Happy Trails

    Bruce and chuckdog,
The test for estimatics is just math, know how to figure area of a triangle, trapezoid, square and a circle and know the formula!! That is a start, also know how to combine two of any of these to figure area.
On the policy all I can say is study! Listen to the instructors closely and don't talk to your neighbor while they are talking! You will miss something if you do, be sure to take a calculator and not your phone (yes it says that you need a calculator but still some guys came to our class with phone in hand). I passed both of mine about 3 weeks ago with EA Renfroe, I was stressed to the max! waiting for the results to come out. They will give you a # with your test and then post scores with that #, I saw one in the estimatics part that missed 31 of 50!! NO pondman that wasn't me!
If I can help let me know and thank you for your service to this great Country!
