Be careful if you are working for Cunningham Lindsey with Sandy. Slow pay or no pay and a lot of bogus excuses like difficulties with processing.

Most of the Sandy flood adjusters will not be completely paid until 2014. The insured has 365 days to file the proof.

There are claims that will not be closed until the end of October in 2013 and payment will not be processed until the 1st quarter of 2014.

The Mayor of Long Beach Island said publicly that 6% of the flood claims have been closed and paid at 60 days out.

    Chuck,

It would seem that some adjusters are not "business" like. Flood claims need to be put in "collectibles" for future revenue, with the 365 day rule. If it happens sooner then great, but always use worst case scenario.

Proadjuster58....you might want to change your name. The first 3 letters are wrong with your post language.
Give them what they want, when they want it, and how they want it !

We heard thru the grape vine that there are 60,000 - 65,000 uninspected flood claims.

Proadjuster, unfortunately, ignorant examiners are becoming more and more prevalent.

Ok, I was worried I was doing something wrong by having a year's pay in receivables. We should call waiting to get paid the "IA 401K" plan.
