The question on your quiz is what is a base flood?  You show the correct answer as being the first time water touches your house??????

The NFIP General Property Form describes BASE FLOOD: A flood having a one percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year.

    Any thoughts?

If I was in Vegas, I'd go with the NFIP answer, if I was in Vegas.

and Base Flood Elevation means the height that water is estimated to reach. Just finished my flood class today in Anaheim. Much better breakfasts since they allow sponsors. And my parking was validated. And only 15 minutes from my house! Short drive from Stabba Ana CA to Anacrime CA.
