    I'm on Xactimate 27.3.

I am trying to import the Geo Estimator roof measurments into this project. I am a contractor. I create a new project named ERIC. I'm on the projects page when you first open up Xactimate. I click on Eric, then on the right there is the following:

    -Open
    -Add
    -Rename
    -Delete
    -Options

I click on options and then click on request roof measurements, then click on Geoestimator. I have the Geo estimator report downloaded onto my desktop as an Xactimate file. I ordered it that way when I placed the order with Geo Estimator.

I then get the error message, "Project is not an assignment."

How do I get around this and get the report uploaded so I can complete the estimate?

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Marshall Smith

I've attached a few screenshots so you can see what trouble I'm running into.

Ok I found out there is instructions with geoestimator when you looking at your orders page in your account. I had to put the file from my desktop into another folder, then go into xactimate, click on data transfer, and click on retrieve, locate the file and upload it. BAM! geez you think after this thread got 69 views somebody could've chipped in...

Anyway, if anybody is having trouble doing that, there ya go!
