I just got hired by a fairly large IA Firm (not sure if Im allowed to say the company name). I head out for my mentorship in a few weeks to start working on flood claims before any hurricanes hit.  I do have a few questions that I need answered if anyone could help that would be great! My wife and and I are very excited but a little nervous as I have never worked in this field before....thankfully after my mentorship she will be traveling with me! Okay on to my ?'s

    1) How much money should I bring with me on my mentorship? I will only be training for a week or so.

    2) How long does it usually take to get your first paycheck? And how often are you paid? (I do know I am on a daily rate)

    3) What are some essential supplies that I should bring while I'm training?

Anyones advice on this would be great! I am very lucky to have gotten this job and I definitely want to start out on the right foot!

    Thanks,

    Jason
