Interested in feedback:  We are developing an online program that tracks your CE [from any provider] against the state board requirements.  Additionally, the program would track multiple licenses and also allow you to upload a PDF of your certificate and maintain it in an online database, printable at anytime.  Would like to hear feedback and suggested pricepoint

Seems like overkill. I keep track of my CE hours in a very thin file folder in my desk.

Why would I need an online service?

I have a question if it cost $. What is the value added, that a note to one,s self not will not do and just put the note in your underware drawer.

    Jim,

You are correct. Why would we pay to reinvent the wheel. We need more help on programs that save us money each year and keeps things simple.

if somebody wants to help why don't they develop one simple code that fills out all our passwords and user ids that with the simple typing of a number code fills out or gets us into each and every program we want to open. Makes sense to me .I am from the school of keep it simple stupid! Then charge 50cents every time they want to change their universal code.DUH, think how many people use the internet.

I have a Mississippi resident license that is reciprocal with other states (Texas, Florida, Georgia, etc). As long as I meet the CE requirements for my home state I don’t need to meet the requirements for the others. I’ve often heard others speaking of this issue, keeping track of various state CE requirements, and never understood the reason for it.

Jerry, the program you described is in Norton with their “Cards & Login” program. When I start the computer I enter my password for the program and it does exactly as you described. I can also fill out a card with form info (name, address, email, credit card info, etc) but I don’t use that part, as I’m nervous about trusting a program to keep that type of personal information secure.

Steve, It assists those of us, who for some reason cannot seem to put their  CEU certificates in one single file as we go through the year picking up an hour here and a few there. I know some years I wind up taking more CEU's than needed just because I'm not sure where my certificate is, or exactly when did I attend that class?, this year or last? Its really handy t log on Sircon, put in my information and see all my CEU's. And we also don't need to worry about being audited, TDI has the info at their fingertips.
