Let's make this a little more interesting.

Long time visitors will know that we have a "Thar She Blows" contest ever Hurricane season and this year it seems no one is coming close to winning the prize which is Leica DISTO™ D8 listed on ?? at $799.00 (maybe Detray will give me a break if  I name his company) and this Disto is burning a hole in my pocket. So I'm going to extend the contest to Matthew, BTW the contest was first started by Dave Hood aka katadj and now is in his honor.

The new rules are as follows;

Pick the US City of landfall, Matthew still must be a Cat 1 or greater at landfall.
Pick the date and time of landfall.
Your prediction must be posted to this thread.
It must be posted before midnight on Tuesday, 9/28/2010.

If Matthew makes US landfall as a Cat 1 or greater the member who comes the closes with their landfall forecast wins the Disto.

I say Matthew will make a US landfall in or around Corpus Christi in the early morning hours of  01 October 2010

   I needed some quick money thought it was worth a try. LOL Actually my pick is --------------- Got till tuesday you'll have to wait to find out.

If exactimate is the "word" why do they not habe a code for "hand sticking wind lift, but not broken composition shingles" on 2.5 pitch to 12/12 pitch? This loss has been on about 500 million houses in Tx since September 13, 2008. I can find the cost of cleaning a small ash tray, but no "wind lift"
