Somethings I'll be using this storm to send the insured a message that I care about their home are booties.  For a few cents each you can get a good supply of slip over booties at any medical supply house.  When you have to go inside the house after a walk around in the mud or a trip over a flat roof with fresh cold tar patching materials, just slip these over your shoes and in you go.

Good suggestion. I cannot recall how many homes I have been to where the insured requested I remove my shoes before entering. Of course in some cases this was not much to their favor.

If you work high value properties eventually you will work one with custom made, Jacquard loomed, Wilton wool carpet. You definitely want booties.

Tracking tar on one of these will bankrupt an adjuster.

Well thanks for the opening Chuck. With your intelligence and imagination my argument must have convinced some others as well as you.
