Maybe I didn't explain my question properly.
What I was trying to find out is are there any states that allow you to hold a PA and an IA license at the same time obviously you can't work the claim from both ends, nor would I.
I made a few calls and asked around , I believe you can hold a PA license in one state, but you must take the state exam in any other state if you want a IA license
Basically you will not be able to obtain other states IA licenses reciprocally using your PA license.
Once you have a resident IA license in one state , you may obtain other states licenses reciprocally
I was told you cannot hold a PA and an IA license in the same state, you must surrender one over the other
You must remeber one thing , just because you are a the holder of an IA license does not make you an adjuster, getting an IA license doesn't mean you will get work as an IA because regardless whether villifying a PA is right or wrong, most firms will not hire a former PA other than what I told you in an earlier post
I want to ask you a question , what do states say about PA's obtaining other states PA licenses, do you guys have reciprocal license priviliges ?
