I'm looking for some information on the Worley skills assessment. I'm attending next month and would like to know what to be ready for. Anyone have some information to share?

I took the Worley assessment in March.  There are 3 'stages' of the assessment.  the group will be split into 3 groups and you will rotate through the stages.  the stages are: 1. photo, ladder handling and an interview with a Worley manager. (Maybe two different managers)  2. You will take a test that includes math, formulas for figuring the area of different shapes, identifing different parts of home construction (sill, header, etc.), and roofing types and accessories.  3. a computer module where you will have to write a brief claim report based on a scenario they provide and then an exercise using Excel.   When I took the assessment they stated it was the first ever and that they would be tweaking the process as time went on.  So.......this was my experience and I would assume yours will be close to the same but you know what they say about assuming things.  Good Luck.

Worley is looking for a few good men and women (adjusters) just like every one else. We need to be competent, look professional, know how to walk and talk correctly. Know how to read policy, scope and estimate roofs, siding, floors, walls etc with little error. Know how to treat people with dignity, respect and be able to communicate. They want to test and eyeball you to see if you are the kind of adjuster (man or woman) that will be of benefit to them. Study up, dress up and go forth with a look of competence on your face. That's what the whole thing is about. to weed out the ones who won't or can't measure up.

Wow, you want all that, doesn't that get in the way of making $50,000 a month right out of training school?

Where can you get a 3 day wonder class to pass the Worley Assessment test. I don,t trust the 3 day license test school as they did not mention any other test has to be taken before you get on a list.
