    If you have close friends or family in good standing try to get on with the same vendor. If you have a chance to work for a carrier "that you have a certification with" work for this carrier with the "best" vendor you can find. Who are the best vendors, I will not name them but this form is replete with vendors who are not good. Contact all that have you on the list and ask your place in line, then ask for a copy of the sub-contractors contract by email.

    Stay away from the vendors whose contracts read along these lines. 1. You must wait to get paid, until we get paid.(sometime they don't get paid... sometime they do but say they don't, and they are a sub-contractor and you are a sub, so you loose out. If all the crooks can't get warm bodies the reputable vendors will have to dig down and use warm bodies and you may be on your way if the weather cooperates in 2010.
