Looking to get my foot in the door as a staff adjuster. I would also be VERY willing to be an assistant to someone doing daily claims or CAT work. I have 11 years of RE appraisal experience in Central Florida. I have put up 3 roofs with and for family and friends. I have good construction knowledge.  I recently completed the Florida All Lines Adjuster License course and my license is pending (should have in a week or so). I have strong professional references. I am willing to go anywhere at any time to get my start. I am a work horse and am willing to do anything. I am easy to get along with and would love to email my resume to anyone that may want to give me a chance. So heres the deal, Its usually all who you know,  I don’t know anyone in the industry, If anyone is responsible for hiring and could overlook my lack of adjusting experience enough to get me hired then  I will pay you 1,500 cash the day I start, and another 1,500 after 6 months.

I interview well, I work hard, I am professional. I am willing to do anything to learn. I am fairly proficient on Xactimate 25.  I am looking for very nominal starting training pay.  I just need a chance to learn the trade. You will not be disappointed. Thanks

    Tim

Your questions have been answered many times. There is little chance you will be hired as a staff adjuster without a four-year college degree. Without a major hurricane there is a very small chance of a large catastrophe vendor hiring you. Your best chance is to contact small vendors such as Amcat and take their corses, and if you do well they will likely offer you a contract.
