My close adjuster friend sent me Macros to load into exactimate.I am fairly new to x so I was wondering how I can download these to the program. Also is it possible to load them to the training demo program? I know it must be fairly easy.

Want to be up to speed when the work hits so practicing on the Demo.

Locate the macros on your desktop and then go into xact... click the projects tab.... hit data transfer and retrieve.. locate the file and bring it in.
But if you are jst learning xact... learn how to make your own macros... much better that way

Macros are great. Suggest when you complete an estimate for a total roof replacement or simple water loss save as a Macro so your next roof replacement or water loss all you have to do is retreive. I use them all the time. just dont forget to delete line items you dont need or make sure measurements are correct unless your using sketch. minor adjustments better then searching for the same thing over and over again

I would recommend using them, and as you write more and more estimates you can keep adding Macros you think you will use over and over..

    Good luck
