Anyone have any experience with the 'TrulyGr8 Mobile Desk' from www.wheeldesks.com/ ?   It hangs over the steering wheel, so you can work without twisting to one side or moving to the passenger seat.  It should be a solid laptop platform and yet very inexpensive.

I think that it would be hard to make turns with this desk on the steering wheel.

Don't tell me that you didn't think it and don't tell me that you don't know at least someone who wouldn't try to do it. Lol

I'm a firm believer in KISS.  Here's mine. A scrap piece of Corian bolted to the drink holder. Plywood would work just as well. My laptop sits on it and hasn't slid off yet. With my aircard I can send and receive emails and files while on the road. I also can pull up Delorme and have a map of the area I am in to find short cuts and or detours.  (Don't tell any one but you can surf the web while you're driving too!) No I haven't ever done that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

C'mon, sdraeger, admit it...  Just between you and I.

You've checked email while driving, haven't you?  Right??

(Your desk is not only simple, it's pretty!)
