Thanks in advance for any replies.

Been looking into entering the world of cat adjusting. I've been going over pros and cons and I have a question for you guys.

If I do this it will be me and the wife. Which leaves no one at home. What do you guys do about mail and paying bills? A couple of weeks is no big deal, but if your gone for 6-8 weeks it could. Will postal service hold mail that long? Do I switch to on line bill pay?

What do you guys do to remedy this issue?

    Thanks again.

I tried the search but it seems to be down.

It's a lot easier than it used to be. Definitely switch to online bill pay. Sign up for ebills wherever possible. If the vendor you are working for offers direct deposit, make sure you take advantage of that. That way your commission checks are not caught in the mail.

The postal service allows you to pay a fee and they put a temporary forward on your mail for 13.95 a week (two dollars a day versus late fees and bad credit? Take the two dollars a day. We used it for ten months after Katrina and it worked like a charm). Keep the same cell phone number wherever you are so people can always contact you.

Steve, the Ethics folder is a good idea. I suggest also that a folder be created specifically for Newbies and Wannabes; given the continual inquires (most asking the same questions over and over) it would seem to make sense to have one central place where they could post their questions and where new ones could peruse the archives.
